Trip Waerebo 2D1N trip departs every Monday to Tuesday; Wednesday to Thursday and Friday to Saturday for Open Trip. For Private Trip, you are free to choose the departure date. Waerebo trip is another option when you go to Labuan Bajo. Before or after joining Komodo Open Trip, you can try to explore Waerebo. Waerebo’s distance from Labuan Bajo takes about 4-6 hours by car, then about 2.5 hours on foot. Let’s go to Waerebo!

ITINERARY TRIP WAE REBO 2D1N
DAY 1
- Pick up at Hotel Labuan Bajo 06:00 – 07:30 am
- Travelling approximately 4-6 hours by car to arrive at Dintor Basecamp
- Lunch at Dintor and head to Denge Village to prepare to go up to Waerebo
- Take Ojek from Denge village to post 1 (very short time)
- From Post 1 to Waerebo village will take approximately 2.5 hours walk. Porters will accompany us*
- Arriving in Waerebo, Participants must follow the Customary welcome (Waeluú) at the Main house before doing activities in Waerebo.
- Enjoy Waerebo while waiting for dinner. (can take a shower too)
DAY 2
- Wake Up Morning, Breakfast at Waerebo
- We can enjoy the morning atmosphere in Waerebo Village. See Waerebo natives who have started their activities such as drying coffee.
- Around 08:00 we will leave Waerebo and go back down to Post 1. From Post 1, you can take a motorbike taxi to Denge Village, the car is waiting in Denge Village.
- Then head to Dintor Village for a short break, Lunch or you can take a shower too*.
- After finishing lunch in Dintor Village, we will return to Labuan Bajo and will take about 4-6 hours.
- Arrive at Labuan Bajo and the trip is over.

Feeling overnight in the Waerebo Cone House is a very memorable experience for you. First time in a lifetime sleeping in a Waerebo Traditional House. Feel the atmosphere of Waerebo Village, interact with local residents and see the natural beauty around the village. A long journey that will pay off when you arrive in Waerebo.

- For the Waerebo Trip, we will be travelling quite far. Please prepare personal medication, such as anti-sickness medicine when travelling by road.
- Must be prepared physically excellent, because we will trek for 2-3 hours or about 6km.
- During the trek to Waerebo, we have provided porters to help carry some items. Participants can also add their own porters if needed.
- The porter will accompany you all the way from departure to return.
- Sleeping in Waerebo, we will sleep sharing with all visitors in the Waerebo Cone Traditional House. Beds are equipped with mattresses, pillows and blankets.
- Electricity in Waerebo will die around 23:00. Because there is no electricity flow into the village. There is a sleeping lamp in the lodging house from solar power, so it is not pitch dark when sleeping.
- There are 4 bathrooms and toilets in Waerebo and all are to share with other guests.
- While in Waerebo, must comply with the rules of the Waerebo Traditional Village
